““When you believe in a thing, believe in it all the way, implicitly and unquestionably””
Hey everyone, my name is Delaney Renae, welcome to my first blog post. This is set to give the idea of who I am as a person and what this Blog is really about.
Currently I am a second year graphic design student at my local community college. I hope to build my design portfolio and gain knowledge in business to go into Marketing and Advertising. I aspire to create a positive atmosphere within social media, advertising and marketing. An atmosphere which is light and happy. One where influence is positive and not so much negative or degrading. These outlets should not be looked at as harmful or terrible things, this world changes everyday, the advances are incredible and should be praised not shot down.
Growing up my family owned a business, and they still continue to keep it running smoothly. From a young age I gained a basic knowledge of a small, family owned business and how important connections are. Connections in the sense of networking business wise and relationship wise. Along with the family business I had 4 older siblings, with the oldest being 14 years older, while the one closest to me in age was still 7 years older than me. Many could say that I grew up quickly, or as I like to describe it, I wanted to be friends with the bigger kids. But having older siblings was such a blessing, yes sometimes it was tough but if it wasn’t for them I don’t think I would be even close to the person I am now, or if I would have the interests I do, so I am thankful for them.
Throughout my years I have gained three specific passions - a passion for Disney, a passion for traveling, and a passion for outreach (basically through social media, networking, connections) These passions have continuously lit a fire in my soul that keeps me motivated and always striving for the next adventure or next lesson. These passions light the path that leads me towards my future. A future in which I hope to combine or utilize these passions to strive for a bigger, larger goal.
That’s a little bit about me. That’s all for now.
Signing off, xoxo
